Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth was happy with a point after watching his side draw 0-0 with Exeter at St James Park.

Holdsworth was pleased with the point for his side, which sees them climb out of the bottom two, and he praised his players for their work ethic. "I think it was a fantastic point which we would have taken beforehand," Holdsworth said. "If Asa Hall's header goes in and we made our first-half pressure count that would have been the icing on top of it. "I thought it was a very good point from the lads and they did really well - this is a tough place to come. "I thought our closing down and work rate without the ball was superb. "I am delighted to get a point and without being greedy, we could have got three points. "I think the squad we have got is very good and the problem is keeping them all fit. We have got some good options and a lot of pace. "We felt that Exeter would be 4-3-3, so we went 4-3-3 and it has really worked. "We have set the lads a challenge for 18 games and this is a sign of where we are confidence-wise and I am glad the fans have gone home happy following a solid display."
