Andy Walker & Ian Crocker's weekly Scottish Premiership predictor

Ian Crocker and Andy Walker give their predictions for this weekend's games and the key players to watch out for.

Another week in Scottish football has passed but the Joey Barton saga continues to rumble on.

The midfielder was suspended for three weeks by Rangers before his club got back to winning ways to reach the League Cup semi-finals on Tuesday. They have subsequently been draw against Celtic, who left it late to see off a battling Alloa Athletic in their quarter-final.

Aberdeen and Greenock Morton also made their way through to meet each other in the last four. But it's back to Premiership action for the weekend as Sky Sports' commentary team Ian Crocker and Andy Walker give us their thoughts on the weekend's fixtures, before they head up to Pittodrie for Aberdeen v Rangers on Sunday.

Celtic v Kilmarnock - Saturday 3pm

Andy Walker's prediction:
Celtic 3-0 Kilmarnock

Key player: Ryan Christie
When Brendan Rodgers looks to his subs bench, Ryan Christie is someone who can make an immediate impact. His pass for James Forrest's goal against Alloa Athletic was magnificent.

Ian Crocker's prediction:
Celtic 3-1 Kilmarnock

Key player: Scott Sinclair
Reunited with Brendan Rodgers and rejuvenated. He looks like the Scott of Swansea! His excellent scoring spree may well continue.

Hearts v Ross County - Saturday 3pm

Andy Walker's prediction:
Hearts 2-0 Ross County

Key player: Perry Kitchen
A surprise choice to take over the captaincy at Tynecastle but the USA international has what it takes to handle a big opportunity.

Ian Crocker's prediction:
Hearts 2-2 Ross County

Key player: Perry Kitchen
New captain's leadership and industry should drive Hearts but Ross County should be sturdy opponents.

Key player: Faissal El Bakhtaoui
Didn't give Aberdeen's defenders much peace but he and Dundee need a bit of time after losing 36 Hemmings/Stewart goals.

Partick Thistle v Motherwell - Saturday 3pm

Aberdeen v Rangers - Sunday 1pm - Live on Sky Sports

Andy Walker's prediction
Aberdeen 2-1 Rangers

Key player: Jayden Stockley
Whether starting the game or coming off the bench, Stockley has the type of imposing physical presence that will trouble what has been an unconvincing Rangers defence so far this season.

Ian Crocker's prediction:

A goalscoring midfield player that can sometimes make all the difference for Tommy Wright`s men.

Ian Crocker's prediction:
Hamilton Accies 0-0 St Johnstone

Key player: Ali Crawford
Two very tidy goals against Motherwell meant little in the end up but can be a huge influence on his day.
