Athletic Bilbao midfielder Raul Garcia has ousted Lionel Messi atop the La Liga Power Rankings.
Garcia scored a long-range stunner during a 3-1 defeat to Levante, having also scored against Deportivo earlier this month - while Levante's Jose Luis Morales (No 10, up 36 places) ran the entire length of the pitch to seal the win.
Messi slipped into runner-up spot after being rested during Barcelona's 2-2 draw at Celta Vigo, while the Catalans' clash with Villarreal was postponed due to a fixture clash with the Copa del Rey final, which saw Barca thrash Sevilla 5-0.
Real Betis trio Marc Bartra (No 4, up one place), Junior Firpo (No 5, up 14 places) and Antonio Barragan (No 8, up 20 places) made headway up the chart after Betis beat Las Palmas 1-0 in mid-week and held Atletico Madrid to a 0-0 stalemate on Sunday.
Getafe right-back Damian Suarez (No 3, up six places) maintained his ascent up the rankings, helping his side claim a 2-1 win at Alaves and 1-0 victory at Eibar, while Alaves bounced back by beating Las Palmas 4-0 on the Sunday - with Munir El Haddadi (No 6, up 60 places) scoring twice.
