Keeper looking to take on new challenge

Carlos Kameni has admitted he would welcome the opportunity to join a Premier League side this summer. The Cameroon international is set to become a free agent at the end of the season as his contract at Spanish outfit Espanyol comes to an end. He is widely regarded as one of the most consistent goalkeepers in Europe and at just 25-years-old is yet to reach his prime. He began his career in France with Le Havre, before securing a switch to the Primera Liga in 2004. Kameni believes it is now time for him to take on a new challenge, and there will be no shortage of takers for him to choose from. Newcastle, Bordeaux, Paris St Germain, Bayern Munich and Galatasaray are all believed to be interested, with a switch to England representing the African ace's preferred choice.

Attractive

"I want to experience another league, but I am not ruling out staying in Spain," Kameni told skysports.com. "The Premier League is very attractive to me. I would like to play there. "I recently spoke to someone about moving to the Premier League, but I will take any offers from other clubs seriously. "Bordeaux? They are a good team and a return to France is possible. "I am open to offers. I am a free agent and I will think carefully before choosing my next club."
