Moroccan midfielder Mehdi Taouil is hoping he can agree a new contract to stay at Kilmarnock. Taouil linked up with the SPL club in October and has scored once in 19 appearances for Jim Jefferies' side. His current deal expires in the summer, but Taouil admits he is keen to extend his time at Rugby Park. "I hope we can agree a deal, but in football you never know what will happen," Taouil told the Daily Record. "I feel good here, I have felt that from the beginning. I really like it at Kilmarnock. "I like Jim Jefferies and Billy Brown, my team-mates and all the staff at the club - that's why I hope we can agree a deal. "There are other teams who are interested and they have spoken to my agent, but at this moment I'm not thinking about that, I am only thinking about Kilmarnock."
