Ajax are on course for a place in next season's Champions League.
Ajax are on course for a place in next season's UEFA Champions League after beating Groningen in the first leg of their Eredivisie play-off.
Both Ajax and Groningen have fought their way to the final - the winner of which will join champions PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.

They doubled their advantage 20 minutes from time when Greek Angelos Haristeas fired home form Nourdin Boukari's cross.
Heerenveen and Twente will meet in the final of the Uefa Cup play-off after both secured victories in their semi-finals.

Twente's progress was a lot easier as they claimed a 3-1 win at Utrecht which gave them a 5-1 aggregate success.
Sharbel Touma put Twente ahead after 68 minutes before life got even easier as Edson Braafheid was dismissed for the home side.
Giuseppe Rossini gave Utrecht a glimmer of hope with his goal (73), but Blaise N'kufo and Patrick Gerritsen struck late on to seal Twente's final place.
The first leg of the InterToto Cup play-off saw Vitesse Arnhem and NEC Nijmegen play out a goalless draw.
