Nigel Winterburn highlights Arsenal's defensive problems against Schalke
Nigel Winterburn says individual errors were a root cause of Arsenal's deflating defeat to Schalke.

The Gunners suffered their first defeat to a foreign team in the Champions League at the Emirates and surrendered top spot in Group B as goals from Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Ibrahim Afellay sealed a 2-0 win for Schalke.
It was the Gunners' second successive defeat after their 1-0 loss at Norwich at the weekend and Winterburn highlighted some worrying issues afflicting Arsenal's current performances in attack and defence, particularly Andre Santos' display at left back.
"You have to take individual responsibility. You have to look at your own performance first," he told Sky Sports.
"Quite simply from Arsenal's point of view if you look at their attacking against Norwich and Schalke it was not good enough.
"So then what you want to do is at least come away with a draw. Arsenal switched off against Norwich with Vito Mannone making the mistake and then against Schalke they came out and they didn't pick up their men and went a goal behind and then they were chasing the game.
"It is not just working for them attacking-wise at the moment. They have no pace out wide, particularly on that right-hand side. Ramsey played there tonight and Jenkinson didn't even get forward from fullback.
"Then you have Santos on the left hand side who likes to go forward. But he was getting caught out of position and Farfan was just running at him and went past him far too easily."
Winterburn added: "For me he [Santos] is not a natural fullback. He likes to go forward and in a way he is almost a classic fullback now who is very good on the ball and likes to go forward but defensively he is very, very suspect.
"If you are constantly getting beaten on the outside then your other back three players are having to travel backwards and sometimes one of the centre halves has to come out and cover it. So you are getting pulled around and we saw even in the first half that Farfan had many opportunities.
"If he had picked out the right pass Schalke would have taken the lead earlier."
