Daniel Sturridge: Celebrates his goal at Fulham

Sky Sports News Radio's Ben Ransom is joined in the studio by TEAMtalk duo Mark Holmes and Rob McCarthy as they discuss the midweek Premier League action and look ahead to the FA Cup fifth round.

You can listen to the Podcast via Soundcloud below or access it via iTunes.

Missed opportunity at Emirates?

The experts start by discussing the disappointing 0-0 draw between Arsenal and Manchester United at The Emirates, with Rob blasting Arsene Wenger for not taking more of a risk against an average United outfit.

Mark, however, sticks up for the Gunners boss and says it was important he steadied the ship after the debacle at Anfield.

Liverpool lapses set to cost them

Brendan Rodgers finally admitted that Liverpool are in the title mix but both Mark and Rob agree that defensive lapses will ultimately cost them their chance of winning the Premier League this season.

The unfortunate Kolo Toure is one again singled out for criticism after the 3-2 win at Fulham, but the trio agree that while Suarez and Sturridge continue to torment you never know.

Sherwood's motivational skills

Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood is praised by Rob and Mark for his excellent man-management and motivational skills after another excellent win at Newcastle, although Rob is slightly concerned that Sherwood is starting to make some worrying AVB-like tactical decisions that could ultimately harm the team in games against the title-challengers.

Stoke chat and FA Cup fifth-round

Stoke fan Mark discusses how the Potters are fairing under Mark Hughes this season and struggles to answer the question over who of Hughes or Tony Pulis he would prefer in charge, while Ben looks ahead with relish to Charlton's FA Cup clash with Sheffield Wednesday before he is cruelly cut short to discuss the lesser ties between Man City and Chelsea and Arsenal and Liverpool - with Mark and Rob disagreeing on the outcome of the ties.
