The Belgian Everton frontman is perfectly poised to benefit from a favourable run of fixtures, with lowly Cardiff City visiting this weekend followed by Swansea City and Newcastle United in a double gameweek and then basement side Fulham.
After a dip in form, Lukaku (£8.6m) has come back from a brief layoff as a revitalised force, scoring in his last two run outs against West Ham United and Arsenal.
The Toffees target man is actually considered the shortest-priced favourite to score in the Premier League this weekend at 4/5 anytime with Sky Bet, with their visitors carrying the worst away record in the division.
A meagre tally of seven away goals from the Bluebirds also makes Roberto Martinez's backline worth a look, with Seamus Coleman (£6.5m) only trailing Lukaku as Everton's highest scoring player by three points having netted five times this season.
Newcastle's Loic Remy also tempts this week having recaptured his scoring touch, netting in successive games against Aston Villa and Hull city ahead of the Magpies' trip to Fulham.
As Manchester United verses Liverpool and Tottenham against Arsenal makes up a blockbuster Super Sunday, Manchester City and Chelsea are the other big favourites but neither of their frontlines can be trusted right now, especially with Sergio Aguero a doubt again after limping off against Barcelona in midweek.
However, the Blues' backline does offer appeal heading to Aston Villa, having kept clean sheets in five of their last seven league games, seeing John Terry (£7m) pull clear as the game's leading scoring defender with 134 points.
Luis Suarez remains the game's overall top scorer with 246 points, having ended his goal drought with a first in six against Southampton, while Eden Hazard follows on 194 after also ending a five-game goalless streak last weekend.
In third place, Yaya Toure boasts 188 points and is the model of consistency, not going three games without netting in the league since the start of December, while Daniel Sturridge (167) has been rapidly making ground on the leaders with 10 goals in his last nine appearances.
