Bournemouth v Liverpool (Nissan Super Sunday, Sky Sports 1 HD from 12.30pm)

Live Nissan Super Sunday

This is an absolute banana skin for Liverpool. I guarantee this will be a difficult afternoon for them. Bournemouth were bang unlucky against Arsenal last weekend - they played very well. Before that they beat Stoke and were unlucky to lose against Sunderland, they had chance after chance that day.

Liverpool are carrying a few injuries and their squad isn't massively deep.

Bournemouth like to open the game up. Liverpool like to the open the game up. They'll have a right go at each other. Goals will flow out of this one.

Arsenal 3-1 Bournemouth

Liverpool's Achilles heel this season will be their defence. Although they keep clean sheets, teams create chances against them. Bournemouth do have a ruthless edge to them, so I can see them scoring twice. I'll go Desmond again.

Everton v Man Utd (Nissan Super Sunday, Sky Sports 1 HD from 3.30pm)

Live Nissan Super Sunday

Manchester United moved the ball very quickly against West Ham and did the job well. I had been saying for a while that United would batter someone soon as they create so many chances without scoring. However, this is a hard game for them at Everton. Goodison Park will be rocking as they'll want to get one over United.

Southampton 1-0 Everton

It will be interesting to see if Jose Mourinho plays Paul Pogba. I think they moved the ball quicker without him in the team. Sometimes he slows the play down, although he's not playing in his proper position. I'm still unsure about Pogba, especially as I'm such a big fan of Henrik Mkhitaryan - he's their best player, by a long way. He's different gravy.

Middlesbrough v Hull (Monday Night Football, Sky Sports 1 HD from 7pm)

Live Monday Night Football

Hull have got to highlight this game and try to have a go. There are lots of games between now and May in which Hull won't have a chance in. It's games like these they need to make count.

Leicester 2-2 Middlesbrough

I like watching these types of games as there are always goals. Just look what happened in the West Brom v Burnley game. Everyone thought it would be low scoring but it's a game where both teams have to go for it, which usually results in plenty of chances. These are games that teams down the bottom need to win. I like Middlesbrough - I think they'll win a high scoring game.

PAUL PREDICTS: 3-1 (18/1 with Sky Bet)

Hull 1-1 West Brom

Merson's earlier predictions...

Man City v Chelsea

I can't wait for this one. This match ticks every box. I'm expecting a humdinger as both teams will be well rested after a week off. Chelsea only need to get a draw out of this game. Not losing would be a big, big result.

I'm interested to see how Guardiola gets on trying to break through Conte's formation as everyone who has tried to break them down has struggled.

Although Chelsea don't let in goals, I can see this being full of them.

If Chelsea can stop Manchester City scoring in this game, then they'll be massive favourites to win the Premier League. I can't see it though as City's firepower is frightening and will find ways to open this Chelsea team up. However, City's defence just don't do clean sheets in big games. I'm going for a high scoring draw. Desmond.

PAUL PREDICTS: 2-2 (11/1 with Sky Bet)

Crystal Palace v Southampton

Crystal Palace need to win this weekend. It's a must, must, must-win game. Alan Pardew isn't stupid and he'll know the importance of it.

However, I can't think of a tougher fixture for Palace. The fans wouldn't be expecting a win against a top-six team but they'll want their side to beat a team like Southampton. At the start of the season, you'd have thought there wouldn't be too much between the two teams. I think this is a nightmare game for Pardew.

Defensively they are shocking. They've tried to attack, attack, attack and they've end up being terrible at the back. The balance is all wrong. I can see it getting worse before it gets better. Away win.

PAUL PREDICTS: 1-2 (8/1 with Sky BetMost popular Super 6 selection: 30 per cent predict 1-2)

Stoke v Burnley

I don't go against Stoke at home. Burnley rarely get the ball into dangerous areas away from home and don't create too many chances. Meanwhile, Stoke's team is full of creative players that love to play in the games like this. I can't see anything other than a home win.

PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0 (6/1 with Sky Bet - Most popular Super 6 selection: 26 per cent predict 2-0)

Sunderland v Leicester

This is where Leicester's players have been for the majority of their careers: in the lower end of the Premier League and the Championship.

Liverpool 2-0 Sunderland

I don't see their position in the league as a surprise. They had an unbelievable season last year where everything went their way - and fair play to them - but what they're doing now is reverting back to their normal levels. It's like a horse that wins the Grand National. They win it and then they can't even win a race at Plumpton.

This is a big match and I think Sunderland will win.

PAUL PREDICTS: 2-1 (6/1 with Sky Bet - Most popular Super 6 selection: 25 per cent predict 1-1)

Tottenham v Swansea

Swansea last weekend, blimey! Every time there was a corner or free-kick the referee should have just given a goal. It was a shambles of a match. It was entertaining but to think that Swansea have turned a corner would be madness.

I've got to go with Tottenham here. For 44 minutes against Chelsea they were phenomenal. However, they've only won one of their last 10 games - that's a bit of a worry. That said, this looks a very winnable match.

PAUL PREDICTS: 3-0 (9/1 with Sky Bet - Most popular Super 6 selection: 30 per cent predict 2-0)

Swansea 5-4 Crystal Palace

West Brom v Watford

West Brom are flying. Tony Pulis is pulling up trees there. I know some fans moan about the style, but they'll never go down with Pulis in charge. If he went and took a team over who are at the bottom, he'd keep them up too.

Watford are like a bag of Revels. They were atrocious against Stoke but then looked like world beaters the week before that. I just can't back them here, especially as Pulis could do with a win bonus after the week he's had!

PAUL PREDICTS: 3-1 (14/1 with Sky Bet - Most popular Super 6 selection: 25 per cent predict 1-1)

West Ham v Arsenal

What is happening at West Ham? They came away with a point at Old Trafford but didn't deserve it. They rode their luck and then they were so poor in the cup game.

However, this isn't a gimme for Arsenal as West Ham will make them work hard for it and it could be interesting to see if Andy Carroll is fit to start. He will cause problems.

It's easy to forget that Arsenal struggled for long periods against Bournemouth and Sunderland. But I fancy they may just nick this one.
