New Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez is 5/1 with Sky Bet to leave before the end of the season.
Former Liverpool boss backed to find Stamford Bridge life tough
Rafa Benitez is 5/1 with Sky Bet to leave Chelsea before the end of the season after being confirmed as interim manager at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening.
Former Liverpool and Inter Milan boss Benitez was backed in from 2/1 to 1/8 to get the job once Roberto Di Matteo's dismissal was confirmed and is 5/1 to lead them to the Premier League title.
Benitez is 6/1 to help the Blues retain their FA Cup crown, although the online betting company has also added a number of specials around Roman Abramovich's penchant for firing managers.
Sky Bet are 20/1 that Benitez is the next Premier League manager to lose his job and 33/1 to leave before New Year's Day.
Sky Bet's Live Football manager Joe Petyt said: "It's a great chance for Rafa to rebuild his reputation after his unsuccessful spell at Inter Milan.
"Chelsea fans may not be too happy with the appointment and he'll need to hit the ground running and they could be on his back quickly.
"Abramovich has shown he doesn't tolerate a poor run of results and the pressure will be on Benitez to perform right from the first game."
