Take a second look at our Football League spotlights, with all 72 clubs covered over the course of the season.

Over the course of the 2011/12 campaign, Sky Sports once again delved deep into the heart of the Football League in an effort to provide a greater insight into life away from the glare of the Premier League. Nine months of madness saw us catch up with a representative from all 72 clubs, across all three divisions, with countless phone calls, numerous emails and many hours of stress producing a fitting end result. We got the ball rolling way back in September with then Crawley striker Matt Tubbs - looking ahead to what was a productive season for the League Two new boys as they secured back-to-back promotions. From that point on there was no stopping us, with big names and big stories covered at every turn. Among those to offer their thoughts on life in the Championship was Jos Hooiveld, who reflected on a job well done at Southampton as they ready themselves for a return to the big time. Tom Ince discussed goings on at Blackpool shortly before the Seasiders saw their play-off dreams dashed, Mikele Leigertwood talked us through Reading's revival ahead of their title-winning charge and Jason Pearce lifted the lid on life at administration-hit Portsmouth. We also spoke to West Ham defender James Tomkins about the need to bounce back into the Premier League, discussed four-goal salvos with Nottingham Forest's Garath McCleary following a star showing against Leeds and caught up with Tom Heaton - who played a leading role in Cardiff's run through to the Carling Cup final.

Response

In League One, we opened with a double-header of relegated sides looking to offer an immediate response, but Michael Doyle of Sheffield United and Iain Hume of Preston will be plying their trade in the third tier again next season. We also caught up with Michael Morrison of Charlton and Ryan Lowe of Sheffield Wednesday in promotion-winning campaigns for their respective clubs, and talked play-offs with MK Dons boss Karl Robinson and Stevenage shot-stopper Chris Day. Chesterfield goalkeeper Tommy Lee previewed the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final and Alan Judge discussed all things Notts County. Dropping down into League Two and we caught up with a representative of Swindon's title winners early on, in the form of keeper Wes Foderingham. Port Vale pair Gareth Owen and Adam Yates had quite a tale to tell, as they reflected on a difficult season for the club off the field and their own academic studies. We also spoke to two of the fourth tier's shining lights in the form of Torquay keeper Robert Olejnik and Southend winger Ryan Hall. The final chapter in our intrepid tale took us to Wembley, with Crewe shot-stopper Steve Phillips taking time out of his play-off final preparations to discuss goings on at Gresty Road.
