The former Sunderland hitman is currently plying his trade in the United Arab Emirates.
He helped his club claim an 11th Etisalat Pro League title over the weekend by firing a hat-trick in a 3-0 success against Dubai.
That increased his tally to 28 goals this season, but although the 27-year-old Ghana international claims he is enjoying life at Al Ain, he hinted that a return to Europe would be too good to turn down.
"I have won two titles here. I am scoring goals, but I'm not playing in front of 50,000 fans," he said. "I am missing European football sometimes, but don't get me wrong I am happy here and it's nice to be here.
"However, if there is a possibility to return to a very good European club then of course I would take the opportunity. It would be very exciting to score goals again in a European league."
