It's fair to say Tuesday's World Cup Qualifier between Korea Republic and Syria won't live long in the memory.
Keen to bounce back from their surprise defeat to China on Thursday, Hong Jeong-ho's fourth-minute half-volley sealed a hard-fought victory for Korea.
From then on, despite the apparent gulf in quality, Syria's battling display ensured there was little else for those in attendance in Seoul to write home about.
That, however, was until a bizarre occurrence took centre stage at Sangam Stadium.
Syria right-back Alaa Al Shbli and Korea midfielder Koo became more accustomed to each other than they had envisaged having thrown themselves into a full-blooded tackle on the far touchline.
Shbli's studs got caught in Ja-Cheol's laces, intertwining the two players to an extent in which they had to call for help to be freed.
