Honduras international will return for pre-season training at Hibs

Jorge Claros intends to complete his loan deal at Hibernian despite struggling for form since arriving in Scotland. The Honduras international linked up with Hibs in January after failing to earn a deal at Rangers following a trial spell. He was tipped to be a big hit in Edinburgh, but failed to impress during 13 mediocre outings. The undoubted low point of his time with Hibs came during their 5-1 Scottish Cup final humiliation against arch-rivals Hearts, when he was hauled off at half-time. It was expected that he would see his loan agreement cancelled this summer, allowing him to return to his homeland and parent employers Motagua. Claros' agent insists that is not the case, though, with the 26-year-old - who cheated death in 2011 when he was shot during an attempted robbery - determined to make his mark in Europe. Paulo Hernandez told the Daily Record: "Claros has a contract with Hibs until December and he will be back with the club for pre-season training."
