Alex Song has not been included in Cameroon's squad for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The West Ham midfielder, on loan from Barcelona, was not among the 22-man party named on Wednesday for next month's event in Equatorial Guinea.
Song, who had made it clear he was available for the January 17 to February 8 showpiece, is now free to play against Swansea, Hull, Liverpool and Manchester United.
However, West Ham will be without Senegalese duo Diafra Sakho and Cheikhou Kouyate after they confirmed their participation in the tournament.
