Slovenia have sacked head coach Matjaz Kek in the wake of their failure to qualify for Euro 2012 and replaced him with Slavisa Stojanovic.

Slovenia have sacked head coach Matjaz Kek in the wake of their failure to qualify for Euro 2012 and replaced him with Slavisa Stojanovic.
Kek had been at the helm since 2007 and his greatest achievement was taking the country to the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa, where they lost 1-0 to England.
The nation have wasted little time naming Kek's successor with Stojanovic landing the job of picking up the pieces ahead of their 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
Stojanovic, 41, joins having worked as assistant manager to Srecko Katanec in United Arab Emirates, who qualified for the 2011 AFC Asian Cup.
Premature end
Slovenia finished fourth in Group C behind the likes of Italy, Estonia and Serbia with 14 points from 10 matches.
"The Football Association of Slovenia and head coach Matjaz Kek have agreed to the premature end to his contract," read a statement from Slovenia's FA.
"Kek undoubtedly worked well and with him at the helm Slovenia achieved a lot of success. We wish him all the best in the future and thank him for all our success."
Stojanovic's first game in charge will be friendly match against USA on 15th November in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
