Huddersfield Town have recalled Jack Payne from his loan spell at Oxford United.
The attacking midfielder joined League One side Oxford United on loan at the start of the 2017/18 campaign, on a season-long loan.
However, 14th-placed Huddersfield have cut his loan spell short and exercised the recall clause in his contract.
The 23-year-old has made 33 appearances and scored seven goals for Oxford United this season.
Payne has played a key part in their attack, contributing 19 goals overall for the club, since joining on loan in July.
Payne had an impressive start to the season with Oxford United, who currently sit 10th in Sky Bet League One.
