Carlisle United caretaker boss Greg Abbott is hoping to establish a strong working relationship with Chelsea.
Carlisle have benefited from the Chelsea academy already this season by taking youngster Harry Worley on loan, and Abbott has since been invited to spend a day behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge.
Worley himself has spoken highly of Carlisle's training methods, and Abbott is hopeful that Chelsea could send more of their youngsters to the League One club.
"They have invited me down for a day to see how they do things and hopefully we can sort something out within the month," he told the News & Star.
"I have spoken to Neil Bath, their academy manager, and I will be speaking to Frank Arnesen this week as well.
"Harry has told the people at Chelsea about how we do things and that he's really happy with the training we are doing.
"If we can create good impressions at this stage then hopefully it's something we can gain from in the future in terms of them maybe letting some more of their young players come to us."
Worley himself has only played 45 minutes for Carlisle since his deadline day move, and with only two weeks of his loan spell remaining looks unlikely to take full advantage of the loan spell.
However, Abbott insists it has been a positive experience.
"I've had a smashing chat with Harry and he has come in full of enthusiasm and trained very well," he said.
"He is disappointed not to have been playing, but Chelsea are really comfortable with how we are doing things."
