Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths is a doubt for the Champions League match against Barcelona on Wednesday.

Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers revealed the player suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty with Scotland.

Griffiths played the full 90 minutes the 3-0 defeat to England in the World Cup Qualifier at Wembley.

The 26-year-old has not been a regular starter for Celtic since the end of August because of a hamstring problem which forced him out of Scotland's match with Malta.

But the forward, who scored 40 goals last season, has still hit the net nine times in 17 matches for Celtic in the current campaign.

"We will see how he goes in the coming few days," Rodgers said after Celtic beat Kilmarnock 1-0 at Rugby Park.
