Manchester City fans will be looking forward to seeing their side secure top spot for Christmas with victory against Stoke, but they are also favourites to claim a piece of Premier League history on Wednesday night.
Just 11 goals are needed to reach the milestone of 20,000 Premier League goals, and City are Sky Bet's 4/1 favourites to be the side who reach that landmark.
City have been in destructive form at the Etihad Stadium this season, averaging over three goals per game, and are 2/7 favourites to beat Stoke, who are 12/1 to record a fourth-successive league win.
Victory will see Roberto Mancini's men secure their place at the top of the table come Christmas Day, while Manchester United will be looking to keep up the pressure when they visit Fulham.
Sir Alex Ferguson's men are 8/1 to snatch another piece of Premier League history by reaching the milestone, while Everton and Arsenal, who face Swansea and Aston Villa respectively, are both 7/1.
Sky Bet also offer odds on which player will net the historic 20,000th goal, with Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli, who are joint 10/3 favourites to open the scoring against Tony Pulis' men, both 10/1, while the Premier League's leading scorer Robin van Persie is 14/1 to add to his remarkable year by reaching the landmark.
Those in action on Wednesday night will be looking join the likes of Brian Deane and Les Ferdinand in the history books.
Deane netted the opening goal of the Premier League era way back in 1992, for Sheffield United against Manchester United after just five minutes, while Les Ferdinand netted the 10,000th goal for Tottenham against Fulham in 2001.
