Wolves boss Terry Connor believes his rock-bottom side can still escape Premier League relegation after their 2-1 defeat at Norwich.
The Black Country side produced a battling display at Carrow Road but still left without any points to help their survival bid.
Connor's men had conceded 19 goals in the previous five matches heading into the clash and two more defensive errors proved costly as Grant Holt's double won the game for the home side.
Matt Jarvis fired Wolves ahead but they allowed Holt to equalise within 90 seconds and then conceded a penalty seconds before half-time, which was converted by the 14-goal striker.
Defeat leaves Wolves four points adrift of safety with eight games remaining.
Crime
"I thought the lads were terrific today, they gave absolutely everything out there," said Connor. "I couldn't have asked for any more from them.
"We took the lead, I'd say deservedly so, and within 90 seconds the ball is in our net.
"That's a crime. We've got to see that little period out then the game will settle down again.
"We're working hard to eradicate defensive mistakes from our game but having got in front there was perhaps a little lack of concentration. At this level you get punished for it.
"It was very hard to take. But we've got eight games to go and I look at the table and think it is still very doable."
