Kevin Sainte-Luce has signed a new contract at AFC Wimbledon.

The winger, who was born in Guadeloupe but raised in Paris, made a big impression at Kingsmeadow after joining the club in January and chipped in with two goals in his 14 appearances last season. Dons boss Neal Ardley brought Sainte-Luce through Cardiff's academy when he was in charge of the youth set-up at the Bluebirds and he is delighted to have secured the 20-year-old's future. "When we signed Kevin I thought his fitness might be an issue after the season he had up until that point but in fits and starts he put in some good performances," Ardley told the club's official website. "Hopefully, with a good pre-season under his belt we will have a really good asset on our hands." Sainte-Luce added: "I was really impressed with the Wimbledon support when I joined and I was determined to put in good performances for the club. "My favourite moment was when I scored my first goal at Dagenham & Redbridge because it was an important goal and it helped the team out at a tough time. "I have enjoyed my time so far at Wimbledon and I am happy to have signed a new contract."
