The former Ipswich Town, Fulham and Sheffield United man played most of last season with League One side Chesterfield before his release in April after a falling out with Spireites boss Roy McFarland.
The Dutchman has agreed a one-year deal with the Buckinghamshire-based outfit, as they aim to bounce back from relegation into League Two.
Uhlenbeek will be joined at Wycombe by teenage defender Gary Silk, who has signed a one-month loan deal with The Chairboys for pre-season next month.
Should manager Tony Adams be impressed with Silk during the club's pre-season matches, he will be offered an extended deal for the rest of the campaign.
One player who has moved on from Wycombe is Dannie Bulman, who has joined Conference side Stevenage Borough.
