Torres: Cup is special for us

Crawley winger Sergio Torres is out to create another chapter in the club's FA Cup history.

The Red Devils' reward for sinking non-league Chelmsford 3-0 on Saturday is a third-round visit from Premier League Reading. Crawley made the fourth round last season where they were edged out by Stoke and a year earlier, at the same stage and as a non-league side themselves, narrowly lost 1-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford. Goals from Nicky Adams, Billy Clarke and Gary Alexander sank Essex club Chelmsford to give Town their latest crack at top-flight opposition. And Torres told the club website: "I thought it was a very good performance from the whole team and we definitely deserved to win. "The FA Cup has become a special competition for this club and it will be great to play another big club at home."
