Go for Aguero

Sky Sports Fantasy Football bosses are advised to hand Sergio Aguero the armband for this weekend.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football's Tim Clement looks at who you should be transferring in this weekend

Sky Sports Fantasy Football bosses should be scrambling for the services of Sergio Aguero (£9.8m) ahead of this weekend, with points galore on the cards again. The Argentinian has been at the forefront of Manchester City's phenomenal form at the Etihad Stadium and, with Swansea City visiting on Sunday, is perfectly poised to add to his tally of seven goals in six Premier League games. While Manchester City have toiled on the road this season, their record at the Etihad has been perfect, racking up a remarkable 22 goals from their last four in all competitions, including 7-0 and 6-0 wins over Norwich City and Tottenham Hotspur respectively. Aguero bagged a brace and the Sky Sports man-of-the-match award against Spurs before netting another against Plzen in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night, prior to Manuel Pellegrini resting him in the second half with a pre-planned half-time substitution. The 25-year-old's 20-point haul last Sunday saw him replace Aaron Ramsey (£5.8m) as the game's top points scorer with 104 points, while Daniel Sturridge (£9.2m) and Wayne Rooney (£9.2m) follow after also netting in the last gameweek. With the game's most popular player, Robin van Persie (£10m), a doubt for the trip to Tottenham after missing Manchester United's last two matches, Aguero is the obvious replacement to lead your side this weekend. Romelu Lukaku is the other interesting option and will open up funds elsewhere at a price tag of £8.6m. The Belgium striker took his tally to seven goals this season with a brace against Liverpool last weekend and faces troubled travellers Stoke City on Saturday. However, it is worth removing his team-mate, Leighton Baines (£7.7m), given the left-back has been ruled out for up to six weeks. You do not need to look far for a suitable replacement, with the Toffees' other marauding full-back, Seamus Coleman (£6.5m), who has helped his side collect six clean sheets already this season. Elsewhere, Oscar (£7.6m) is looking an increasingly desirable acquisition ahead of Chelsea's clash with Southampton, having scored his fifth goal of the season against West Ham United. The Brazilian playmaker has cemented his place in Jose Mourinho's starting XI and is available for much less than team-mates Eden Hazard and Juan Mata.
