The Three Lions swept through their opening 2014 World Cup qualifier, recording a 5-0 victory in a tricky away trip.
Next up for them is a home date with Ukraine on Tuesday.
Blokhin expects his players to be fully focused on the job in hand when they take to the field at Wembley, with there no need for them to have viewed a routine win to know how dangerous Roy Hodgson's side will be.
"We respect the England team - but we will be trying to beat them," he said.
"If we are in the same position as Moldova, we will lose 8-0. They lost the game before they came onto the pitch.

"I prohibited my team from watching it. There was no point.
"I can't promise we will win - but we will fight."
Blokhin hopes the added pressure of playing in front of an expectant home support will weigh heavy on England's shoulders, allowing Ukraine to snatch a positive result.
"The pressure is on them, whether they want it or not," he said.
"If they win, they will have six points and have made a very good start in the competition.
"It is the opposite to Donetsk. We are trying to start the tournament well but we understand if we lose tomorrow, nothing will have changed."
