Midfielder returns to training after month out to strengthen groin

Doncaster have received a boost with the news that Martin Woods is ready to return to full training. The 24-year-old has been out for a month on medical advice working on a programme to strengthen his troublesome groin. The midfielder, who signed a new three-year contract in September which will see him stay at the club until the summer of 2013, is now hoping to put the problem behind him. Head physio John Dickens told the club's official website: "Martin has done everything that the specialist has asked him to do. He's worked very hard over the last four weeks. "We've done everything that has been asked of us before he goes back into full training and once he does that, it will tell us whether he has got over the problem or not."
