League One round-up: Walsall go top of the table

Walsall moved to the top of Sky Bet League One and deepened Blackpool's woes with a comprehensive 4-0 victory at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.

Romaine Sawyers gave the unbeaten visitors the lead after 25 minutes and that was the catalyst for a comfortable victory by Dean Smith's side.

Tom Aldred put through his own goal at the start of the second period to make things worse for Blackpool and Sawyers hit his second after Sam Mantom's header to round off a convincing win.
