Goalkeeper spells out Scotland importance

Mickael Landreau insists France are well prepared for Wednesday's Euro 2008 qualifying clash with Scotland. Les Bleus drew 0-0 with Italy on Saturday and are now preparing to take on Scotland at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday. France top Group B, one point clear of second placed Scotland, and goalkeeper Landreau is well aware it will be a tough match against Alex McLeish's side. "We got a good point [against Italy] but now we will have to consolidate that by getting three against Scotland," Landreau told L'Equipe.

Italian job

"We know the Scots will be up for the game and that it will be a difficult match. "That's why we did not speak only about Italy and we knew the match at the Parc would be decisive." Landreau also admits France may have to change their Italian job tactics in order to succeed against Scotland. "It will be a different game because the qualities of the two teams are different," Landreau concluded.
