Newport have announced their retained list with captain David Pipe, Ryan Burge and Harry Worley being released by the Exiles.
Skipper Pipe made 28 appearances this season, bringing his total to the club to over 100, while Burge and Worley depart after just one season in south Wales. Lenny Pidgeley, Max Porter, Ismail Yakubu, Lee Minshull, Chris Zebroski, Andy Sandell and Danny Crow have all been offered deals to stay along with Aaron Holloway on a non-contract basis. The Exiles also revealed that they are in 'on-going negotiations' with former Bristol Rovers defender Byron Anthony, experienced Welshman Mike Flynn and Wales international Darcy Blake who arrived at Rodney Parade on a short-term deal and shone during the run-in. Tom Naylor, (Derby) Ian McLoughlin and Kevin Feely (Charlton) have returned to their parent clubs.
