I Love The World Cup Because...

"It is the pinnacle for football. It is what all kids dream of when you are young, so it is amazing to think I am a part of it. The next World Cup always used to seem so far away, watching it as a kid. Those four years would seem like forever!"

My World Cup Hero Is...

"The Brazilian Ronaldo. I remember the final against France in 1998 in particular with the controversy around him. He was an unbelievable striker, and had that aura around him that is amazing to watch at a World Cup."

The Best World Cup Match I Have Ever Seen Is...

"I will go France versus Brazil in 1998. You had so many great players in that game; Zinedine Zidane, Didier Deschamps, Ronaldo and Rivaldo. Then there was the off-pitch drama around Ronaldo beforehand and the fact France won it on their home pitch. It had everything you want from a World Cup final."

The World Cup Newcomer I tip To Be A Great Player Is....

"Luke Shaw. He has got such quality and such a good mentality at such a young age. He is going to be part of the England squad for a long time."

My First World Cup Memory Is...

"Michael Owen scoring that wonder goal in 1998 against Argentina. For him to have the confidence and the technique to score a goal like that at the age of just 18 was phenomenal. My other early memory is also from that match, watching David Beckham kick out at Diego Simeone and get sent off."
