Former midfield hardman Paul Ince reflects on his favourite World Cup memories and recalls England's missed chance back in 1998

With the greatest show on earth now just a matter of days away, we sat down with former England midfielder Paul Ince to discuss his favourite World Cup memories. The self-styled 'Guv'nor' represented England at the 1998 World Cup in France and admits he still looks back on the tournament with a tinge of regret. Glenn Hoddle's men went out on penalties to Argentina in a match that featured David Beckham's infamous sending-off and Ince - who missed a penalty in the shoot-out - feels that England side could have achieved so much more. Ince gives us his recollections of that tournament and also reveals his favourite World Cup game, his earliest memory of the tournament and all-time hero.
