Matt Le Tissier names his top five England penalty takers

Matt Le Tissier believes that Joe Hart should take a penalty if England find themselves in a shoot-out at Euro 2016.

The Soccer Saturday pundit, who scored 48 out of 49 spot-kicks during his career, lists Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney, James Milner and Dele Alli as his other four picks to step up if required in France.

England have been knocked out of six of their last 11 major tournaments on penalties and face the prospect of another shoot-out showdown as they enter the Euro 2016 final 16, starting with Monday night's clash with Iceland.

"I was with Joe a couple of weeks ago and watched him take some penalties. Joe is very confident and wants to do it, so let him have a go," he said.

While known more for saving then scoring penalties, Hart has actually scored in three penalty shoot-outs, once for England at the 2009 U-21 European Championships and twice for Manchester City against Roma and LA Galaxy.

5) Joe Hart - "Joe is very confident and wants to do it, so let him have a go."
