Here we pick out some of the best stats from Saturday's Premier League action, courtesy of our friends at Opta.

Aston Villa 2-3 Watford

No player has scored more league goals in the top four tiers than Odion Ighalo in 2015 (24, level with Harry Kane).

Micah Richards netted his first Premier League goal since November 2011 (v Newcastle).

Aston Villa remain bottom after losing 3-2 at home to Watford.

Alan Hutton scored his third own goal in the Premier League; the only Scottish player to score more is Colin Hendry (4).

Bournemouth 3-3 Everton

The two latest goals in the Premier League this season were scored in Bournemouth v Everton (94:45 and 97:13).

There was late drama as Bournemouth grabbed an injury-time equaliser to draw 3-3 against Everton.

Romelu Lukaku has scored eight goals in his last eight Premier League games for the Toffees.

The Belgian has already matched his tally of 10 Premier League goals from last season.

Everton scored their first Premier League goal this season from a set-piece, becoming the last side to score in this way this season.

Ross Barkley has been directly involved in more Premier League goals than any other English midfielder this season (11, six goals and five assists).

Five of Gerard Deulofeu's six assists this season in the Premier League have been for Romelu Lukaku.

Alan Pardew secured his 100th win as a Premier League manager.

Alan Pardew heaped the pressure on Steve McClaren as Crystal Palace win 5-1 against Newcastle.

It's the first time since March 1998 that Newcastle have lost against Crystal Palace in all competitions (W8 D3).

Newcastle have lost more points from leading positions than any other Premier League team this season (10).

Yannick Bolasie has had a hand in four goals in his last three Premier League appearances vs Newcastle (two goals, two assists).

James McArthur scored his first Premier League goals in 23 Premier League games.

Papiss Cisse has scored in all three of his Premier League matches against Crystal Palace.

Connor Wickham has assisted two goals in a single Premier League game for the first time in his career. 

Man City 3-1 Southampton

Man City are unbeaten in five Premier League meetings with Southampton, winning the last four (D1).

Southampton have won just one of the last nine Premier League games against Man City (W1 D2 L6).

Manchester City were too strong for Southampton as they won 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.

Kevin De Bruyne has scored or assisted nine goals in six Premier League appearances for Man City at the Etihad (three goals, six assists).

Since the start of last season, Kevin De Bruyne has made more assists than any other player in Europe's top five leagues (26).

Raheem Sterling has had a hand in five goals in his last four Premier League matches against Southampton (three goals, two assists).

Fabian Delph scored his first Premier League goal for Manchester City in what was his fifth appearance.

After a run of eight clean sheets in nine Premier League home games, Manuel Pellegrini's side have conceded in each of their last six at the Etihad.

Shane Long has netted three goals in his last five Premier League starts for the Saints.

Sunderland 2-0 Stoke

Sunderland have lost just one of their last nine Premier League meetings with Stoke (W5 D3 L1).

Ryan Shawcross has been sent off five times in the Premier League for Stoke - at least three more than any other player.

Sunderland made it back-to-back wins to move clear of the relegation zone with a 2-0 win over Stoke.

The Black Cats have now won as many league games in six games under Sam Allardyce as they had in 17 under Dick Advocaat (3).

This defeat ended a run of four consecutive away clean sheets for the Potters.

Patrick van Aanholt's strike was his first ever goal in the Premier League.

Games involving Stoke have seen just 25 goals so far this season, fewer than any other team in the Premier League.

Sunderland mustered 18 shots (including blocked) - their highest number in a Premier League game this season.

Glenn Whelan made 84 passes against Sunderland - at least 27 more than any other Stoke player.

Leicester 1-1 Manchester United

Jamie Vardy has become the first Premier League player to score in 11 consecutive appearances, overtaking the record held by Ruud van Nistelrooy since August 2003.

Vardy has netted 13 goals in those 11 games and is the current top Premier League goalscorer with 14 goals.

Jamie Vardy scored in an 11th consecutive game as Leicester drew 1-1 with Manchester United.

Vardy's 14 goals make him the highest scoring Leicester player in a single Premier League season, one above Tony Cottee who scored 13 in 1999/2000.

Manchester United (and David de Gea) conceded from open play in the Premier League for the first time in 545 minutes.

Bastian Schweinsteiger netted his first goal since May for Bayern Munich against Mainz - Shinji Okazaki was playing for Mainz that day.

Christian Fuchs registered his first assist in the Premier League for Vardy's goal, becoming the seventh Austrian to assist a Premier League goal.

Two of Daley Blind's three Premier League assists have come against Leicester City.

In Premier League history, this is the 10th draw between teams in 1st and 2nd position (15 wins each).
