Full Time. All over! Brilliant win for Norwich. Anthony Pilkington with the only goal and the Canaries held on for the victory. United off the top of the Premier League.
Chance for Van Persie to whip in a free-kick. He does so and Bassong diverts the ball towards his own goal - brilliant save from Ruddy!
Carrick sees his shot blocked and Norwich are on the break. Howson is through on goal - he's one-on-one. But he drags the shot horribly wide.
Holt holds the ball up well and then Johnson has the chance to run clear but he fails to control the pass. Rafael then commits a desperate foul and gives away a free-kick.
Ferguson is off the bench and imploring for some urgency from his players. Norwich retaining their shape and looking relatively untroubled.
Another United attack breaks down and it's all falling a little flat for the visitors. The Canaries in determined mood here.
Johnson adjudged to have been fouled by Hernandez. Not sure about that one and the Mexico international is livid. United frustrated.
The ball comes to Giggs in the area but the ball ricochets back off him under pressure and that's a goal-kick.
Norwich pushing for another. Pilkington twists and turns before forcing a cross goalwards for Ferdinand to shovel away.
Nice one-two from the impressive Hoolahan and he finds Garrido in space on the left. The full-back crosses and finds the near-post run of Pilkington who loops a header over Lindegaard to give Norwich the lead.
Giggs with a clever ball to Van Persie but when Valencia crosses Norwich are able to clear. Rafael then has a run into the home defence but sees his shot blocked.
Ferguson might be thinking of making a change here. He has Anderson, Scholes and Welbeck among others as options on the bench.
Giggs with the ball over the top and Hernandez has made a typically superb run to find space. Ruddy has to come out of his area to kick the ball into the stands.
Snodgrass whips in a dangerous cross and Lindegaard is under severe pressure but somehow United smuggle the ball away from goal.
Snodgrass does well to intercept a pass to Evra and is then fouled by the full-back as he attempts to break.
Young with an excellent lofted ball to Van Persie and again the forward misses his kick when well placed. He has so much time he can go and retrieve the ball and cut in on his left to shoot at Ruddy at the second attempt but the keeper saves down low.
United keep the ball for the entire first minute of the half before Valencia drills in a cross from the right that Ruddy claims.
Half Time. The referee brings the first half to an end and we're goalless at Carrow Road. Ruddy has made several saves and it's been a fairly bright game but no glaring opportunities just yet.
Another corner after Smalling attempts a Cruyff turn in the box and sees his shot blocked. But when Van Persie crosses, Ruddy claims the ball at the second attempt.
Chance! Beautiful ball from Giggs as he lofts the ball over the Norwich defence. Van Persie is on the end of it but can only manage an ugly lunge at the ball with his left foot and completely misses his kick when well placed.
Chance! Snodgrass and Hoolahan do well and, when the cross comes in from the right, Holt makes the near-post run but cannot get away from Smalling who produces a great block on the edge of the six-yard box.
Carrick spots Giggs' run and aims for the veteran's head with a diagonal ball but gets too much on it and that's a goal-kick.
The Canaries are still getting men behind the ball though. Carrick has no options in midfield and sees another threaded ball cut out by Tettey who is dropping deep alongside the defence at times.
Norwich dominating for a period now. Succeeding in getting Holt into the game but this is allowing United more space on the break.
Hoolahan doing very well. Here he sets up Tetty who fires off a speculative effort that Lindegaard saves to his right.
Sloppy from Smalling as he surrenders possession in his own half but Johnson's right-footed shot from distance is blocked.
Pilkington running at Rafael and he has Garrido on the overlap - and uses him. The full-back blasts a cross-shot towards goal but it misses everyone.
Hoolahan is causing plenty of problems with his quality play in the hole. This time Snodgrass heads wide from Hoolahan's cross.
It's an open game but no great chances so far. Slow build-up from both sides at times. Tettey is robbed in midfield and that gives Hernandez an opportunity to win a corner.
Better possession from Norwich. A lengthy spell of control ends with Hoolahan in space and he shoots right-footed at Lindegaard from distance. It's an effort on target for the home side and that's raised the crowd.
Giggs with a training ground free-kick pulls the ball back for Van Persie but he fires over when under pressure.
Young running at Whittaker at the other end and the winger is fouled, winning a free-kick in a good position.
Ruddy punches away Young's corner and Norwich break through Pilkington. The winger doesn't have great pace so he tries his luck with a left-footed effort from distance in the left channel and flashes the ball across the goal, just wide of Lindegaard's far post.
It's been a confident start from the visitors but not much goalmouth action just yet. Valencia crosses and Whittaker concedes a corner.
First real attack from Norwich. Tettey drives forward and spreads the play to Snodgrass who wins a throw-in.
Norwich sitting deep as Valencia and Carrick probe. Chance! Van Persie with a shot from the edge of the box and it is pushed for a corner by Ruddy.
But Manchester United have recovered more points from losing positions than any other team in the Premier League (15) and they are one of two sides who have not dropped any points from a match where they have taken the lead at some stage.
The Canaries have won three and lost just one of their last six Premier League home games and kept four clean sheets in that run.
Ryan Giggs starts today. He scored at Carrow Road in the first season of the Premier League (1992-93) and the 20th season (2011-12). He has also netted in three of the five Premier League meetings between Norwich and United at Carrow Road, as well as scoring his second-ever league goal in a 3-0 home win over Norwich in September 1991.
A fairly specific prediction from Chris, who says: "Carrick and Giggs starting means United will be slow and incoherent until about 60 minutes when Norwich, having forgotten that Giggs was even playing, quit marking him and allow him space to pass leading to some excellent chances."
Jamie: "I'm a little worried. We struggled against Villa and struggled last season to beat the smaller teams so I hope and pray United prevail today. 3-1."
Anthony: "I'm anxious to see United's midfield control this game, without needing Scholes to bail them out time and time again. Otherwise, I'll go with 3-0 United."
Harry: "Think it will be a pretty one-sided match with Manchester United scoring early on. I am going for 4-1 United with two from RVP and Holt scoring for Norwich."
