The Southampton players are furious and have confronted the referee who is now talking to his assistant.
Lambert heads the ball back to Fonte on the edge of the box, but the defender slices his shot horribly wide of goal.
Do Prado fires over a free-kick and Lambert gets on the end of it but he directs his header off target.
Snodgrass breaks the Southampton offside trap to go clear on goal and he rounds Boruc, but Yoshida gets back to clear the danger just as Snodgrass was ready to tap the ball into the empty net.
Shaw is pulled back right on the edge of the box, so close to being a penalty as Snodgrass grabs him, but it is only a free-kick.
Ramierez plays in Rodriguez and his shot is parried out by Bunn and the ball drops to Lambert who hits his effort over the top.
Great defending from Yoshida as he blocks the ball right in front of his own goal to stop Holt having an easy tap in from Snodgrass' cross.
Holt misses the ball from Hoolahan's cross and fortunately for the Norwich striker his blushes have been spared by an offside flag.
What a miss from Lallana as the ball drops to him around the penalty spot and with the goal gaping he fires the ball over the top. He really should have scored.
Norwich get the second half underway with the conditions still shocking with sleet still coming down.

The referee brings the first half to a close and it is goalless at the break. Southampton have been marginally the better side, but Bunn has kept out their best efforts so far.
Norwich win a free-kick out wide on the right, but Turner is caught offside as he gets on the end of Snodgrass' cross.
Norwich have claims for a penalty waved away as Holt appears to be tugged back in the box, but the referee waves away their appeals. The ball comes back into the box and Lallana handles Kamara's cross to give Norwich a free-kick right on the edge of the box.
What a waste from Yoshida as in acres of space he sends his cross straight out of play. Wasted opportunity.
Great defensive header from Lambert as he heads Snodgrass' free-kick out from right under his crossbar.
Norwich go close to scoring as Snodgrass fires in a swerving free-kick which Boruc just about manages to keep out. The game is warming up a bit now.
Great save from Bunn as Lambert plays in Ramirez who spots the keeper off his line, but the keeper stretches to pluck his effort out of the sky. Best effort of the game so far.
The home fans are growing a little unpatient as Norwich have struggled to create anything up to now.
Rodriguez picks the ball up just past the halfway line before trying his luck from fully 35 yards, but his shot is high, wide and not very handsome.
Good cross from Fonte towards Lallana inside the box, but he just can't get himself on the end of the cross.
Poor from Snodgrass as he breaks down the left, but takes too long to deliver the ball in and Southampton get bodies back to clear the danger.
Good save from Bunn as he tips over Lallana's effort over the top after some fine approach play from Southampton.
Luckily for Norwich Holt takes a swipe at Ramirez corner and misses the ball totally, but no one is on hand to get on the end of the loose ball.
Good defending from Garrido to stop Lallana getting on the end of Rodriguez's cross as Southampton win their first corner of the game.
Southampton have a good chance to get a ball into the box, but they take too long and the opportunity goes abegging.
Good build up from Southampton as Lallana tees up Yoshida inside the box, but he fires his shot well over the top.
Lambert is forced off for some treatment for a head knock, but he is quickly back on into the action.
Southampton have claims for a penalty away as Lambert heads the ball into Turner with the visitors claiming for handball, but the referee waves away their appeals.
Both sides seem to be coping well with the conditions so far and are looking to pass the ball around at every opportunity.
First sight of goal for Southampton as Shaw sends in a cross but under pressure Rodriguez heads well wide of the target.
The last meeting between these two sides was in League One as it shows how far both clubs have come.
Could be tricky conditions at Carrow Road this afternoon as there is a lot of standing water on the pitch and the rain/sleet is still coming down.

Norwich starting XI: Bunn, Martin, Bassong, Turner, Garrido, Johnson, Howson, Snodgrass, Pilkington, Kamara, Holt.
The last six Premier League games between the sides have produced an average of over 4.5 goals (9/2) and both teams have scored in each (available at 4/6). Sky Bet pundit Jamie Redknapp fancies a 1-1 draw at 11/2, and that could be the way to go with little separating the two sides. Norwich are 6/4 and Saints 7/4 to earn three much-needed points.
Whilst we wait for the team news, why no visit our friends at SkyBet for a little flutter. Norwich 8/5 Draw 23/10 Southampton 13/8.
