Team news for Saturday's FA Cup second-round clash between Oldham Athletic and Mansfield Town at Boundary Park.

Charlie MacDonald has been added to Oldham's injury list prior to their FA Cup second-round clash with Mansfield at Boundary Park. The striker has a thigh injury which is set to keep him out of action for potentially the next six weeks after training on despite complaining of tightness in the muscle. He joins winger Cristian Montano (knee), forward Kirk Millar (ankle and calf) and defender Edijs Joksts (back) as absentees while centre-back Genseric Kusunga completes his three-match ban. On-loan full-back Ellis Plummer has been given permission to play by parent club Manchester City, though, as Latics aim to reach round three of a competition which saw them knock out Liverpool last season. Jamie McGuire and Adam Murray, meanwhile, are added to the Mansfield squad that will travel to Oldham in the FA Cup. McGuire comes back into the reckoning after serving a three-match suspension while fellow midfielder Murray has been recalled from his loan spell at Evo-Stik Northern Premier League side Worksop Town. Chris Clements was substituted as a precautionary measure during the home league defeat to Morecambe last weekend but he is another midfielder who is also expected to be involved on Saturday. One midfielder who will not feature is Lee Stevenson as he is sidelined with a slight calf tear, while defender Ritchie Sutton will be out of action until early in the new year with a thigh problem.
