Team news for Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash between Oldham Athletic and Notts County at Boundary Park.

Latics boss Lee Johnson must decide whether to again name an unchanged line-up for the northern area quarter-final tie. For the first time this season Johnson kept faith with the same XI as his side followed up their 1-1 draw at Bristol City by holding Wolves to the same scoreline in their FA Cup first-round clash at the weekend. Full-back Connor Brown and striker Charlie MacDonald are pushing for action following respective knee and and ankle injuries. Loanee Joseph Mills returns to contention having been denied permission by parent club Burnley to feature at the weekend, but he is still struggling with a hamstring problem, as is centre-back Matteo Lanzoni. Magpies boss Shaun Derry has been hit with the absence of four players due to international call-ups ahead of the trip to Oldham. Andre Boucaud (Trinidad), Jack Grealish (Republic of Ireland Under-21s), Callum McGregor (Scotland Under-21s) and Greg Tempest (Northern Ireland Under-21s) will all be absent for the Northern Section quarter-final. Marcus Haber remains sidelined as parent-club Stevenage, who remain in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and denied the striker permission to appear in the FA Cup at the weekend, have prevented him from appearing in this competition as well. Danny Haynes is also absent as he serves the second of his three-match ban following his red card in the league defeat to Coventry.
