Luis Suarez scored twice for Uruguay in Monday’s friendly against Oman, his first goals since being suspended for biting an opponent during last summer’s World Cup.
The flawed superstar netted the opening two goals for the South Americans who eased to a 3-0 victory in Al Buraimi.
The 27-year-old former Liverpool playmaker’s first strike was an exquisite 18-yard chip over the advancing Oman keeper in the 58th minute, before adding a second nine minutes later.
Jonathan Rodriguez grabbed the third goal three minutes from time.
Suarez, who joined Spanish giants Barcelona during the summer, is serving a nine-match international ban and four-month suspension from all competitive games after biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini during the group stages of the World Cup in Brazil.
His ban, however, does not include friendly matches.
