Image: Dave Kitson: Out with a hamstring injury

Team news for Tuesday's League Two clash between Oxford United and Cheltenham at Kassam Stadium.

Oxford will be without experienced striker Dave Kitson when they face Cheltenham. The former Reading forward limped off 30 minutes in to Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to Burton with a hamstring injury and caretaker boss Mickey Lewis revealed that the 34-year-old is likely to be sidelined for a few weeks. His absence means Portsmouth loanee David Connolly is likely to return to the starting line-up against the Robins alongside Deane Smalley and James Constable while the likes of Alfie Potter will hope to start. The U's currently sit in the play-off spots and are just six points behind third-placed Rochdale in League Two. Cheltenham expect Sam Deering to be available to make the trip to Oxford. The midfielder, a former U's player, was forced off in the second half of Saturday's forgettable 0-0 draw at Fratton Park after sustaining a knock but looks set to be passed fit to keep his place at the Kassam. Winger Zack Kotwica looked lively following his introduction against Pompey and will hope to have done enough to feature against Oxford while striker Jamie Cureton could earn a recall to the side. The Robins have moved nine points clear of the relegation zone having lost just two of their last eight matches.
