No goals at Firhill where Inverness missed an opportunity to regain second spot in the Scottish Premiership table, drawing 0-0 with Partick Thistle.
The closest either side came to scoring was via home striker Kallum Higginbotham who struck the bar from outside the box on the hour mark.
And if Partick had snatched three points during the second half, the visitors would not have had any complaints.
Steven Lawless headed narrowly wide from close range while James Craigen twice went close for dominant Thistle.
Christie Elliott and Ross Forbes had shots saved by Inverness keeper Dean Brill while a close-range header by Ben Greenhalgh provided Caley Thistle with their best opportunity of the afternoon.
Chances were few and far between during a dour first half in north Glasgow.
Gary Warren had a good opportunity to open the scoring in the 18th minute when he fired over from the edge of the six-yard box.
At the other end, Kris Doolan was wasteful for the hosts with a rising strike from close range.
In the end neither side could locate the back of the net, leaving Partick without a home win this season and Inverness third in the table.
