Peterborough midfielder Marcus Maddison is rated as 50-50 for the visit of struggling Rochdale.
The 24-year-old missed last weekend's defeat by Plymouth because of an ankle problem and remains doubtful. Right-back Liam Shephard can play after winning his appeal against a red card on Saturday but Steven Taylor is suspended after his sending-off in that game.
Ryan Tafazolli is likely to be his replacement if he can pass a fitness test on a hamstring injury which has kept him out of the last two matches.
Rochdale forward Stephen Humphrys is a doubt after lasting only the first 20 minutes of Tuesday's 4-1 defeat to Wigan. It is likely to force manager Keith Hill to make alterations having named an unchanged XI in midweek.
Steven Davies was his replacement against Latics but having not started a match since December 16 it is unlikely he will be Hill's first choice from the off. Longer-term absentees Andy Cannon (fractured cheekbone), Niall Canavan (ankle) and Keith Keane (groin) remain out.
Peterborough have lost just one of their last 11 home league games against Rochdale (W7 D3), winning four of the last five.
Indeed, the Dale have conceded 2+ goals on nine of their last 10 trips, conceding 25 goals (2.5 goals per game).
Jack Marriott has been directly involved in 31 goals in League One this term (26 goals and five asissts); the most of any player in the division.
Indeed, Marriott has had a direct hand in 48% of Peterborough's league goals this season (31 of 64); the most of any player for his team in the competition.
Ian Henderson has scored 12 league goals for Rochdale in 2017/18, and has netted at least 10 in each of the last five EFL campaigns for them.
