Rotherham pair Matt Derbyshire and Lee Frecklington could both return to contention for the visit of Ipswich.

Striker Derbyshire has missed the last two games due to an ankle injury but has had an injection and will train on Friday.

Midfielder Frecklington has been sidelined since mid-September but is close to recovering from an ankle problem and also returned to full training this week.

Manager Neil Redfearn, who has no major new injury worries, is bidding for his first win in six games after replacing former boss Steve Evans in October.

Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy hopes Ainsley Maitland-Niles will have recovered from the foot problem which forced the on-loan Arsenal midfielder off after scoring the first goal in the 2-0 midweek win over Bolton.

Forward David McGoldrick (groin) will also be assessed ahead of the trip to South Yorkshire.

Midfielder Teddy Bishop will not be rushed back into action following his recovery from hamstring and shin splints problems.
