Scunthorpe v Wycombe preview

Image: Russ Wilcox: No fresh concerns

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Scunthorpe United and Wycombe Wanderers at Glanford Park.

Scunthorpe boss Russ Wilcox has no new selection worries as he bids to set a new Football League record against Wycombe. The Iron's midweek win at Chetenham saw Wilcox equal Preston boss William Sudell's record of 23 unbeaten games from the start of a managerial reign, set in 1889. Wilcox, yet to lose a game since replacing Brian Laws as boss in November, has named the same line-up for the last three games and is unlikely to make any changes following three straight wins. Scunthorpe's last home league defeat was in November when they lost 2-0 to Accrington and Wilcox's side extended their club record unbeaten run to 23 matches on Tuesday night. Wycombe could be without Leon Johnson again when they face Scunthorpe. The defender had been a regular in recent weeks despite carrying a slight hamstring injury but he sat out the defeat to Burton on Tuesday night and Aaron Pierre could deputise again against the in-form Iron. Rotherham's 18-year-old defender Daniel Rowe, who arrived on loan on Thursday, will go straight into the squad and helps boost the Blues' defensive numbers with Gary Doherty, Tommy Fletcher and Charles Dunnealso sidelined. With strikers Jo Kuffour and Matt McClure sidelined in midweek Steven Craig looks set to feature again despite only just returned to action from a hamstring strain.
