Full Time. That's it. A dramatic draw. Saints lost a lead again and looked to be beaten but found a last-minute equaliser just minutes after falling behind.
Guly curls the ball over the bar cutting in from a wide-left position. Deflected though and it's a corner.
Fox whips a free-kick in from the right and Fonte climbs above Hangeland to head past Schwarzer at the far post.
Riether gets to the byline again cuts the ball back to Richardson to sidefoot goalwards - it deflects off the hapless Hooiveld and into the net.
Ruiz with a cross from the right and it looked as though Richardson would get on the end of it but great tracking all the way to the near post by Yoshida.
Chance! Lallana crosses and Rodriguez has space just six-yards out but sees it late and heads into the ground and over the bar.
Corner to Southampton. Well won by Lallana who was outnumbered and had nowhere to go. But he then wasted the dead-ball.
Karagounis giving Fulham some control going forward and they have good possession in the Southampton half now. Whether they can find a winner may be a matter of whether there's another Saints error forthcoming.
Yoshida tries to win an aerial challenge 35-yards out but is adjudged to have fouled. Riise fancies this one.
Duff and Riether engineer a two-on-one down the wing and the full-back crosses low for Richardson but the substitute fires a difficult chance over the bar.
Long ball to Rodriguez but Hangeland towers over him to win the header. That's been a good battle all day.
You fear for the home side now. The Fulham pressure continues. Southampton struggling to get out of their own half.
Riether broke down the right and his cross missed everyone in the box only to come out to Riise on the left. The Norwegian drilled the ball back in but it looked to be going wide before Hooiveld stuck out a desperate leg and smashed it past Gazzaniga.
Duff crosses but when the ball comes out to Riether he attempts an ambitious shot that goes well over the bar. Respite for the home side.
Southampton being asked plenty of questions by Fulham now. Seem to have ridden the storm a little at the moment but could do with calming things down further.
Southampton clear a corner out to Duff and then he is foolishly fouled on the edge of the box. Chance for the visitors to whip another ball in.
It's end-to-end stuff. Puncheon runs at the Fulham defence and seems to have his leg clipped but nothing given... Fulham's turn.
Here is a Saints break as Rodriguez runs through the middle and drills a shot at Schwarzer that the keeper parries.
Hooiveld again fails to deal with a routine long ball to Rodallega. Throw-in conceded by Fonte on the cover.
But then it's Saints on the counter. Schneiderlin crosses from the right and there's a volleyed chance for Lambert just inside the box but his measured finish is over the bar.
Good spell from Fulham but Davis tracks Kacaniklic's run. Then Saints nearly make a mess of things as they fail to clear. Nervy stuff in the home box.
Maybe he wants to make amends - he's now booked Schneiderlin for a foul on Riise. Clear booking to be fair - cynical challenge.
Delay now as Riise is down. Puncheon accidentally caught him in the head with his studs as he tried to jump over a challenge. A little harsh of the referee to play on initially there - clear head injury.
Saints on the attack and Puncheon twisting and turning on the right looking for an opening but twice his cross is cleared.
Gabriel: "Southampton's direct approach to Lambert has looked good for them thus far, but with such a vulnerable defence you worry that the game could drastically turn against them if Fulham find a cutting edge in front of goal."
Half Time. That's the whistle to end the first half and Southampton lead at the break. Deservedly so as Fulham haven't been great but you still sense the home side will need another goal here.
Chance! Long ball from Fulham and Hooiveld misjudges it badly. Rodallega is clean through but there's pace on the ball and when he nicks it over Gazzaniga it goes wide. Warning for the home side there.
Long ball from Hangeland does find Rodallega this time but Fonte cuts the ball out - seemingly with his hand, but nothing given. It's a clear handball on the replays.
Chance! Lallana and Puncheon combine well and the latter finds Lambert in space in the box. His first touch takes him slightly wide on his left foot and he can only drive the ball straight at Schwarzer. Could have done a little better there.
Lengthy spell of possession earns cheers from the home fans. Rodriguez is getting through a lot of running in attack and Southampton seem to be resting in possession briefly here.
Fox tries another diagonal to Lambert and it's a beauty. The big forward tries to find Puncheon with a knockdown but the winger is wrong-footed and Fulham can break.
Awful ball from Schwarzer now - Fulham have been so sloppy. It comes to Lambert and he slides a pass through to Lallana in the left channel that the midfielder cuts back but it's behind the advancing Rodriguez. The visitors got away with that one.
Kacaniklic skins Yoshida on the flank and has time to cross but scoops the ball over the bar with Rodallega waiting.
Puncheon robs the ball off Riise and has the chance to break but there's the other side of Hangeland - a 50:50 ball and it's fair to say the Saints man didn't fancy his chances.
Good example there as Hangeland drills a ball forward that's well wide of Rodallega and goes through to the goalkeeper.
Fulham getting some joy in front of Southampton with Ruiz taking up some great positions and Kacaniklic looks capable of causing Yoshida plenty of problems. Rodallega struggling to get involved though.
Several robust challenges there. Schneiderlin gets away with a foul on Ruiz but then Kacaniklic commits an offence.
Long ball to Rodallega and the former Wigan man tries to lift the ball over Hooiveld. He's denied by the arm of the substitute and that's a foul.
Chance! Lallana swings another ball in and Schwarzer is nowhere near it. The ball comes through to Puncheon at the back but his shot is cleared off the line. From the next corner the ball is in the net from Puncheon after Lambert's knockdown but the referee has blown the whistle for a foul on the keeper. Puncheon did just ease Schwarzer out of it with his backside.
Two dreadful passes out from the back from Hangeland in a matter of seconds and Southampton can break. Fox wins the corner.
Another corner to Fulham. Yoshida not entirely comfortable since being moved to right-back it seems.
Wonderful move from Southampton. Fox drills a ball to Lallana who has taken up a great position between the lines. He threads a pass through to Rodriguez in the left channel and his cut-back finds Lambert in the middle. The forward tries to pass it into the far corner but the ball squirts off his foot and slices wide. Good football.
Duff's corner finds Hangeland but he can't control the ball and it is cleared. The visitors already look like they miss Berbatov in the centre - plenty of good approach play until the ball enters the box.
Better passing from Fulham as the home side press the ball. They're trying to get hold of this game. But then Hangeland tries a long ball and Saints can break through Puncheon.
The away side haven't really settled yet - it's been quite bitty since the goal with lots of stoppages. Now Sidwell has clashed with Lallana and the Saints man is down with a knock to the head from the Fulham midfielder's stray arm.
First chance for Fulham as a free-kick breaks to Hughes in the box but Lambert manages to get there first and concede a corner.
Good run by Kacaniklic and he glides past Richardson but there is cover from Davis and the home side snuff out the threat.
Lallana curls the ball in from the left and Fonte is there unmarked at the near post. He actually gets the connection all wrong but the ball loops up off his shoulder and into the far corner of the net. With their defensive record, Southampton needed that.
Fox swings the ball in from the right and finds Lambert at the far post but his header from close range can't quite be directed back on target and goes wide.
Ray Wilkins is tipping Fulham to nick this by the odd goal. Ex-Fulham man is Ray. Anyway, the players are in the tunnel and we'll be underway shortly. Thanks for your feedback.
Zach: "Although, they could go on a rampage and score many, but make Southampton look worse than they actually are."
Alan Smith on Sky Sports 1 HD talking about Rickie Lambert: "Sometimes people from the lower leagues don't get a chance. Now people are taking about England. Why not?" It's taken a long time for the Southampton forward to become an 'overnight success'. The guy has a touch of class about him that's for sure.
Trevor: "Martin has done a great job at Fulham but this looks like a narrow home win or a score draw with Lambert getting at least one."
Sadly there's no Dimitar Berbatov in the Fulham squad. And no Gaston Ramirez for Saints - he's out with a dead leg. A blow for both managers as they were the ones expected to provide the class in this one.
Gabriel says: "I'm predicting goals for this one. Southampton are certainly a team with goals in them- but at both ends! I fancy Lambert to cause Fulham's defence some problems and lead the line in his typical robust fashion to link-up play with some quality players in behind him. With Southampton having one of the leakiest defence though, I also think Fulham's eastern-European-themed strike partnership will continue to shine and earn the Cottagers a point. 2-2."
Southampton: Gazzaniga, Richardson, Fonte, Yoshida, Fox, Puncheon, S. Davis, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Lambert, Rodriguez.
Fulham: Schwarzer, Riether, Hughes, Hangeland, Riise, Baird, Sidwell, Ruiz, Duff, Kacaniklic, Rodallega.

Our friends at Sky Bet make Saints narrow favourites at 8/5 with Fulham at 13/8. The draw is available at 12/5 although Martin Jol's side are yet to draw an away league game in 2012.
But they'd be foolish to give up this afternoon even if they do concede the first goal. Southampton have dropped more points from winning positions (9) than any other team in the Premier League this season.
It's not been the best of venues for the Cottagers down the years. The visitors have won none of their four trips to St Mary's, drawing three and losing one.
Welcome to live and interactive commentary of the Premier League game between Southampton and Fulham from St Mary's.
