Image: Timlin: Could play final loan match for Shrimpers

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Southend United and Crewe Alexandra at Roots Hall.

Manager Paul Sturrock has no new injury or suspension worries for Southend's clash with Crewe. On-loan striker Waide Fairhurst, who made his debut in last week's 2-1 defeat to Chesterfield, will continue in attack. Strikers Barry Corr and Blair Sturrock will miss their third consecutive game with glute and back problems respectively. Centre-back Bilel Mohsni will also be unavailable as he serves the second game of a three-match suspension, meaning Graham Coughlan may again deputise after impressing against the Spireites. Meanwhile, Michael Timlin is set to play the final match of his loan spell from Swindon, although he recently admitted he is keen on an extended stay with the Shrimpers. Striker Calvin Zola and goalkeeper Steve Phillips will be included in Crewe's squad for the clash against the Shrimpers. Zola, wanted by several of Crewe's rivals, failed to agree personal terms with Shrewsbury earlier in the week after both clubs had struck a deal and will make the trip after returning to Gresty Road. Phillips, yet to appear this season following summer surgery on his shoulder, is expected to take his place on the bench with Rhys Taylor set to continue. Teenage striker Nick Powell, a second-half substitute in last week's 3-3 home draw with Torquay, is unavailable as he is on international duty with England Under-17s. Manager Dario Gradi has no new injury or suspension problems but defender Carl Martin (shin) remains a long-term absentee.
