Team news ahead of Saturday afternoon's Scottish Premier League clash between St Johnstone and Dundee United at McDiarmid Park.
St Johnstone will be without Murray Davidson for the visit of Dundee United. The midfielder suffered a medial ligament strain during the midweek Scottish Communities League Cup win over Livingston and faces around six weeks out of action. Sam Parkin, Chris Millar and Kevin Moon are all still sidelined through injury ahead of the Tayside derby. Dundee United could hand a debut to new signing Lauri Dalla Valle in Perth. The Finnish striker arrived on loan from Fulham this week and goes straight into boss Peter Houston's squad for the Tayside derby. He will be joined in the pool by Danny Swanson, who completed another 90 minutes in a training game against Rangers on Tuesday. Long-term injury victim Scott Severin will be in the stands as he recovers from a serious leg break.
