      Saints looking to tame Terrors

St Mirren go in search of their first points of the 2009/10 campaign against Dundee United on Saturday. The Buddies shipped a late goal against Hibernian last weekend to lose 2-1 at Easter Road and will be determined to bounce back from that defeat this time out. United picked up maximum points from their first fixture, overcoming Hearts 2-0 on Monday, and they will be keen to build on the momentum gained from that result. St Mirren will be without Steven Thomson for the weekend encounter. Thomson is suspended for the visit from the Terrors after picking up a red card against Hibernian last week. Hugh Murray is back in the squad after sitting out the SPL opener with a groin strain, however the match may come too soon for him. Chris Smith and Mo Camara are both still sidelined with knee injuries. Dundee United have a doubt over Morgaro Gomis. The Senegal midfielder has missed three days of training since injuring his groin in Monday's win over Hearts and will be given a late fitness test. United skipper Lee Wilkie and long-term crocks Jon Daly, Francisco Sandaza and Kevin Smith are all ruled out.
