Swansea continue to keep pushing for the equaliser. They are caught again as Salah puts Eto'o in the clear only for the striker to fail to control the ball. Vorm goes in pursuit of the loose football and is miles from his goal but he has enough defenders back to clear an Eto'o effort.
Great cross from the left just eludes the head of Bony and Cech manages to scramble an awkward bouncing ball over the bar.
Jonathan de Guzman on for Brittain as the lively Salah makes another great break into the Swansea box only to miscue his shot badly.
Eto'o back in the game and he fires a shot just past the upright after a good pass to him inside the Swansea box from Salah.
Mistake by Williams allows Eto'o to releases Oscar but Chelsea can't turn it into a second goal. Williams then thuds a clearance against Eto'o and the latter needs some treatment.
Free-kick to Swansea just inside the Chelsea half. Shelvey takes it quickly and tries to find Ngog in the clear but the latter has strayed offside.
Lovely football again from Chelsea as Salah outwits two Swansea defenders but he can;t quite find a pass for Eto'o.
Brittain heads the corner clear but Chelsea are straight back on the attack. Good strength from ba on the edge of the area and his thunderous shot is just over the bar.
Great ball over the top for Ba to chase - it just gets away from him but then bounces off Vorm and is behind for a corner.
Deep free-kick taken into the Chelsea box which breaks to Routledge on the left. He centres but Cech claims well in a crowd of players.
Nice turn from Bony on halfway and a good ball over the top tries to find the surging Shelvey but it has too much pace and Cech collects.
GOAL BA: The breakthrough finally arrives as Ba blasts home from the edge of the Swansea area and a deflection off Williams is enough for the shot to beat Vorm.
Ben Davies gets forward well and crosses from the left side of the Chelsea area but his cross sails over the head of Bony.
Chelsea break at pace again with Willian but he is halted on halfway and the ball is out for a Swansea throw.

Swansea break down the other end via Wayne Routledge butr his effort from just outside the box is deflected behind. The corner comes over and it bounces off the shin of an unknowing Bony and trckles by the post with Cech scrambling to get to it.
All the hands to the pump for Swansea still at the back. Terrible miss from Eto'o as his blasts wide of the target from 10 yards with the goal at his mercy.
More pressure from Chelsea as Azpilicueta crosses from the left and Willian's header hits Oscar and is then scrambled. Ba then meets a cross from the other flank and glances his header just wide.
Deep cross from the right over the top of Ivanovic and his attempt to flick it back into play fails.
Chelsea corner on the left is cleared at his near post by Bony. Cahill has his shirt tugged and goes down in a heap as well.

Cech called into action again to save from Dyer. Swansea have a corner which is eventually claimed by the keeper.

Great interplay between Willian, Ba and Ramires but the ball is travelling so quickly that the latter can't get his effort on target and Vorm scrambles to the rescue.
Shelvey goes for the sublime from halfway and his attempted lob of the Chelsea keeper does not cause Cech any undue problems.
Willian's low cross inside the six-yard box is very dangerous but Ba can't get a touch to force it home. Terry then goes down in the Swansea area but no real appeals for a spot-kick.
Handball by Shurrle gives Swansea a good chance to get the ball into the Chelsea box from a free-kick. It is taken by Shelvey but then cleared by the defence.

So Swansea down to 10 already and now have to defend a free-kick on the right-hand side of their box. The delivery is poor though and cleared straight away.
Very clumsy tackle by Flores on Andre Schurrle on the edge of the Swansea box and after some deliberation, the former gets a second yellow and his marching orders.

Another chance for Salah as he chests down a long ball into the Swansea box then rather snatches at his attempt which goes well wide.
Mohamed Salah should have opened the scoring as Branislav Ivanovic has loads of time to cross from the right after a marauding run behind the Swansea defence. Salah only manages to guide his effort wide of the target.
Free-kick to Chelsea taken deep into the Swansea box which is headed back into the danger area. A shot from John Terry is blocked and then scrambled clear by the hosts.
Dyer scampers clear on the right as Swansea's bright start continues but his low drilled cross is hammered clear.
Nathan Dyer with an early cross from the right flank in the direction of Wilfried Bony in the centre but it is headed clear.

Swansea shouldn't be underestimated though as they love to keep possession. Chelsea to win narrowly 1-0 with Schurlle grabbing the winner."

Pre-match: Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho makes five changes from the side that booked a Champions League semi-final place by beating Paris St Germain in midweek for the Barclays Premier League clash against Liberty Stadium hosts Swansea. Mourinho hands starts to Nemanja Matic, Ramires, Mohamed Salah, Andre Schurrle and Demba Ba - the match-winner against PSG - while David Luiz, Oscar and Samual Eto'o spearhead a powerful bench as the Blues look to stay in touch with league leaders Liverpool. Swansea head coach Garry Monk makes two changes from the side beaten 1-0 at Hull eight days ago, with Nathan Dyer and Pablo Hernandez both given starts. Jonathan De Guzman and Michu drops out, with no place for Michu among the substitutes either.
